The funky strains of "Soul Bossa Nova" by Quincy Jones drift up the stairs from the ballroom.

Brother Puris walks over to the door just north of the bathroom on the west side of the hall (door #9) and peers in. As soon as he opens the door, you hear a recording of Chip's voice saying, "STAY OUT OF MY ROOM! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!"

Red Sonja stands in the middle of the hall, surveying the scene. The Sexy Vampire stares curiously at the Fairie Queen.

The Sheik says, "I heard a crash...Somebody screamed?"

The Fairie Queen says, "Oh, that was me...I thought I saw someone in the trees outside Smythe's bedroom...Uncle Jack, could you go outside and take a look?"

"Sure, princess," the Sheik says and walks over to the elevator, just as the Viking arrives on the floor, seeming a little surprised to see so many people in the hall.

The Viking walks over to Bernadette's room (door 10). He knocks, then steps into the room, closing the door behind him.

As soon as the Sheik descends in the elevator, you enter the room he emerged from (door # 7).

The large, oak-panelled room seems to function as a bedroom and office. A large canopied bed and a small television and VCR take up the north end of the room, while the south end of the room contains a large desk, a couple of file cabinets, and shelves of books. A sofa and several chairs take up the middle of the room, arranged alongside a large window in the west wall. There is a door in the south wall, by the desk.

You hear a faint electronic beeping sound and notice that the phone on the desk is off the hook.

Out in the hall, you hear Wellman shouting, "What's going on? WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?"
