There is a momentary break in the music coming from the ballroom.
You see a young woman dressed as Cleopatra appear at the top of the stairs behind Sgt. Duffy just as Brother Doofus runs and dives down the laundry chute.
You turn to the Grim Reaper and shout, "Salvatore, you idiot! You've ruined everything!" Then you follow Brother Doofus down the chute.
There is a moment of giddy exhilaration as you plummet down the chute before landing with a thud on top of Brother Doofus. As soon as the two of you become untangled, you see that you are in a small laundry room. A door in the south wall hangs open to reveal a large kitchen, filled with black smoke and the unpleasant smell of burning meat. You notice drops of blood spattered on the floor and various bags of laundry at the bottom of the chute.
Chip and Brother Puris are standing in the doorway, gaping at you in disbelief. You notice that Chip is still clutching his gun, and the front of Brother Puris' Indian costume is soaked with blood.
